Hydro-electric power plant in Roßhaupten



A hydro-electric power plant can be visited near Rosshaupten, at the dam of the Forggensee.

 

Beside the interesting exterior installation, there is a very good and informative showroom there, where the plant and its function are explained in detail.

 

Particularly interesting is an attendance, if the Forggensee has flood and the overflow air-locks are opened. Then there thunder impressive amounts of water through the close valley.
